Last time I did this little meme, it went well. I thought I’d try it again. Below the cut are a few songs from my current writing playlist. Can you guess the genre? Better yet, any ideas about the plot?
- “Hello” by Adele – Perfect song for angst and emotion, right?
- “Heal Me, I’m Heartsick” from the School of Rock soundtrack – It’s really cheesy, I know. But it works when you need a little cheesy. Plus, who doesn’t love Adam Pascal’s voice.
- “Come On, Eileen” by Dexys Midnight Runners – Upbeat, perfect for dance parties. At least I’ve found that it’s always perfect for dance parties.
- “Let Me Be Your Star” from the SMASH soundtrack – What’s better than dueling divas? Sometimes you just really need a power ballad when you’re writing.
