I’m not very good at New Year’s Resolutions. I never keep them, and I make myself sick when I realize I can’t keep them. It’s stupid, I know, but that’s how my brain works. So this year, I have decided to make a list of things I want to do. Something laidback, that doesn’t involve changing or bettering myself. Things that I know I can accomplish:

  1. FINALLY publish my book
  2. See more than one Broadway show
  3. Travel somewhere I’ve never been, or that I can’t remember being
  4. Put a serious dent in my TBR list (it’s too long to finish, let’s be real)
  5. Make a new friend
  6. Try some new restaurants
  7. Write something that reminds me why I love writing
  8. Stop putting pressure on myself and bending backwards for people
  9. Sing in the car more
  10. Treat myself at least once
