I’m not very good at New Year’s Resolutions. I never keep them, and I make myself sick when I realize I can’t keep them. It’s stupid, I know, but that’s how my brain works. So this year, I have decided to make a list of things I want to do. Something laidback, that doesn’t involve changing or bettering myself. Things that I know I can accomplish:
- FINALLY publish my book
- See more than one Broadway show
- Travel somewhere I’ve never been, or that I can’t remember being
- Put a serious dent in my TBR list (it’s too long to finish, let’s be real)
- Make a new friend
- Try some new restaurants
- Write something that reminds me why I love writing
- Stop putting pressure on myself and bending backwards for people
- Sing in the car more
- Treat myself at least once
