Right now, I am working on my goal of decreasing my TBR list (somewhow it’s become gigantic. Who knew?). Because of this, I keep looking back on what’s on the list, and I thought I would share some of the books I am really looking forward to reading.
The Girl with the Red Balloon by Katherine Locke – My friends have been raving about this one. It’s a time travel book to a time that I haven’t read much about. So I can’t wait to see what this one has in store. I think it will be my next read.
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy – Don’t you just love a good tragedy? I’m a huge fan of the Joe Wright film, so I’d love to read the source material. I read War and Peace earlier this year, so Anna Karenina might have to wait. I’m still resting from my last Tolstoy undertaking.
Royals by Rachel Hawkins – I’m planning on reading a lot of “royal” books in preparation for the big royal wedding in May. This book hasn’t been released yet, but I’ve heard amazing things. Can’t they release it sooner?
Here We Are Now by Jasmine Warga – A while back, I had an idea for a story about a girl reuniting with her rock star father. Then I read about this book. This book sounds like everything I wanted to write and more. I love a good rockstar piece and a good reunion piece. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
