Oscar Winners as Broadway Performers

Do you ever envision Hollywood’s top movies as musicals? And then picture your favorite Broadway actors and actresses in the lead roles?  No? Just me? Well, okay then. It’s a fun, sometimes infuriating habit I have. This year, I thought I’d share who I would cast in the inevitable Broadway musicals of the winning movies. So without further ado, the winning Oscar performances, cast for Broadway musicals.

Beauty and the Beast: A Broadway Dreamcast

I’m going to do something a little bit different this time. This is going to be the first in my series of Broadway dreamcasts. I love Broadway, and I love dreamcasting, so I figure this is a perfect fit. Today’s dreamcast is Beauty and the Beast. Back from my blogging hiatus!

“You were on a blogging hiatus,” you ask?  Well, yes. I didn’t announce it or anything, but with school break, and time at home with my family, I didn’t want to think about blogging for a while. And I think that was good for me.

I did, however, in my unannounced blogging hiatus, FINALLY start my Facebook author page.  I’m going to be hosting a giveaway soon, so follow me there.

Best Broadway Overtures

For my inaugural post on my new website, I decided I would talk about overtures. Overtures set the tone for the movie or the musical or whatever, just like I am (hoping) this post sets the tone for this website. Maybe. I don’t know. So I present to you: My favorite musical overtures (just three this time, no order, because I know there will be more).
