I think most authors dream about what their books would look like as movies. I know I do. The biggest draw for me is the possibility of seeing these characters that I created and loved played by actors on the big screen. So I’ve been thinking, who would I like to see take on my work? I have a few ideas…
So I’m busy watching Roman Holiday right now, which, if you didn’t know, is currently in the works as a Broadway musical. Brief Encounter, Sunset Boulevard, and many other Hollywood classics have found their way onto the Broadway stage. So it got me thinking. What old Hollywood films would I like to see as Broadway musicals? Here are just a few…
Have I talked about Moulin Rouge on here before? Maybe? Probably. So I’m sorry if you’re sick of it, but it’s my very favorite movie. It has been for 17 years. Here are just a few reasons that I love it…
Hello fellow bloggers!

Do you ever envision Hollywood’s top movies as musicals? And then picture your favorite Broadway actors and actresses in the lead roles? No? Just me? Well, okay then. It’s a fun, sometimes infuriating habit I have. This year, I thought I’d share who I would cast in the inevitable Broadway musicals of the winning movies. So without further ado, the winning Oscar performances, cast for Broadway musicals.
I really like Halloween. When I was a kid, I didn’t like candy, but I loved getting dressed up and trick-or-treating. I love the costumes and the details. However, I am not a fan of Halloween movies. Everyone I know has one (or in the case of my brother, tons) of Halloween movies that they can watch again and again. With the exception of Young Frankenstein, I’ve never really had a Halloween movie. So today I am writing about alternative Halloween movies. Movies that showcase some kind of change, but without the Halloween aspect.
I’ve been doing a lot of research lately on the story of Lancelot and Guinevere for my current WIP (no, it’s not a telling of their story… but my main protagonists are movie stars who met in a film about them), and it got me thinking about love stories. I’ve been reading and watching a lot of them lately, for inspiration, and it makes me realize that I REALLY like love stories (I am a romance writer, after all), so here it is. The first in my many part series: My favorite fictional love stories.
