I’m a teacher. As such, I like to read what my students read, and so I read a lot of Young Adult books (also, let’s be honest, YA books are awesome). I’m also a Broadway enthusiast, which you probably realize if you read this blog or know me at all. Today, I am combining those two and making a list of the YA books I’d most like to see turned into Broadway musicals.

I know I’m an adult, but I read a lot of YA fiction (even if I didn’t enjoy them, I’d try to keep up with them. I’m a teacher, and I like being able to talk to my students about reading). The book box I get (Uppercase) sends out new YA books every month. So far, I’ve loved them all, but here are my top 3.
- My Lady Jane by Brodi Ashton, Cynthia Hand, and Jodi Meadows
This book was a delight. Historical, hysterical, magical (sorry, I couldn’t think of another h word). A consuming and fun read. I can’t wait to go back for more.
