If you follow this blog (and I am so happy if you do), you’ll notice I haven’t REALLY been around the past few weeks. Don’t worry, I’ve been spending most of that time coming up with excuses (and I promise I’ll be back for real in a few weeks):

  1. I was in tech. To steal a phrase from Smash… I was helping my students with their school play. It was a lot of work for a long time. It closed Saturday, and I am STILL exhausted.
  2. I forgot. Seriously. A reminder on my phone went off today, and I had a very choice swear word when I remembered.
  3. I have been getting ready. School trip to NYC this weekend. It’s been consuming my mind, as trips to NYC always do.
  4. I needed a break. Everything keeping me busy has made me less creative as of late. I haven’t even written in a while. I’ll get there, but not yet.
