In honor of Tony Nominations Day (yay!), I’ve decided to talk about my NYC trip from two weeks ago. These are in no order, because there is no way that I could choose any favorite in what I saw, but here’s a little bit that I loved about each of my last three shows.

Yesterday, I was writing an intense “will-they-or-won’t-they” breakup scene, and I found myself listening to a lot of Broadway showtunes while I did. I’ve been thinking I’d like to do another musical dreamcast (for a project that will never be made except in my dreams). When I do dreamcasts, I take a preexisting movie, stage show, or idea, and put in the Broadway actors and actresses that I think would be perfect in the lead roles.
